Now in its fourth year, this highly competitive program provides real-world research experience for its participants who live on the UTK campus and team up with NIMBioS postdocs and UT faculty to conduct research.\u00a0The <a href=\"http:\/\/nimbios.org\/education\/reu2012_proj\" rel=\"nofollow\" shape=\"rect\" target=\"_blank\">2012 projects<\/a> cover topics ranging from evolution to viruses. The program, which runs from from June 11-August 3 this year, also includes a variety of extra-curricular activities and outings, as well as a generous stipend, housing and some funding to support travel. <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.nimbios.org\/education\/reu\" target=\"_blank\">The NIMBioS REU webpage<\/a> contains links to a <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.nimbios.org\/videos\/reu\" target=\"_blank\">video<\/a> featuring past REU participants, <a href=\"https:\/\/legacy.nimbios.org\/press\/reu_profiles2011\" target=\"_blank\">participant profiles<\/a>, and more.
