Gaoue gave a colloquium\u00a0titled\u00a0&#8220;Modeling the short- and long-term consequences of plant harvest by local people&#8221; in the mathematics department to which other departments were invited. Gauoe also met with the chair of the biology department and met individually with several graduate students and faculty members.
