I came some information about the topic: Antibiotics given to domestic animals (cows, chickens) can cause a problem for humans. Pathogens can develop resistance to antibiotics in these animals, and resistant pathogens (as well as non-resistant)\ pathogens can be passed to humans through undercooked meat. There was a case of this in 1983 in South Dakota/North Dakota/Minnesota where a resistant strain of Salmonella sickened several people.
