Changes to SMB 2012 Conference Schedule
Cancelations:
Rubem Mondaini and Jaewook Joo, the 3rd and 4th speakers in CS32: Computational Biology, scheduled for 7/27, SESSION I in Room 301D, have canceled.
Seongho Kim, the 2nd speaker in CS19: Systems Biology, scheduled for 7/26, SESSION E, 12:05 p.m. in Room 300B, has canceled. As a result, presentation times for the remaining two speakers in CS19 will be moved up. Tina Vu will speak at 12:05 p.m.; Kimberly Fessel will speak at 12:30 p.m.
Ephantus Muturi, the 1st speaker in MS23, scheduled for 7/27, SESSION H, 11:40 a.m. in Room 301B, has canceled. He will be replaced by Michael Robert, topic TBA.
Additions/replacements:
Robert Bonomo has been added as the 1st speaker in Minisymposium 30 (MS30) (7/28, 11:40 a.m., Room 301B). Topic: Understanding a bacterial fitness landscape through substrate specificity and inhibition of a novel beta-lactam antibiotic inhibiting enzyme in Klebsiella pneumoniae
The speaker for the 8:30 a.m. Thursday Plenary talk is now Alexander Anderson; topic: An integrative approach to cancer.
The speaker for the 2:20 p.m. Thursday Plenary talk is now Michael Simpson, topic: Footprints in the noise
Herman Eberl replaces Tianyu Shang as 2nd speaker in Minisymposium 18 (MS18); topic: Cross diffusion models of biofilm.
Tim Reluga has been added as the 4th speaker in Minisymposium 16 (MS16). His topic is The Endogenation of Immunization, scheduled for 7/26, SESSION F, 4:55 p.m. in Room 301A.
Michael Robert has been added to replace the 1st speaker in Minisymposium 23 (MS23), scheduled for 7/27, SESSION H, 11:40 a.m. in Room 301B. Topic: TBA.
