NIMBioS co-hosts panels on how to write a successful NSF Graduate Research Fellowship proposal. The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited US institutions. Fellows benefit from a three-year annual stipend of $34,000 along with a $12,000 cost of education allowance for tuition and fees (paid to the institution), opportunities for international research and professional development, and the freedom to conduct their own research at any accredited U.S. institution of graduate education they choose. The panels feature GRFP recipients and are moderated by faculty.
2019 Panel: 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, September 4. This panel will be streamed live for remote participants and hosted for local attendees in Hallam Auditorium (Room 206) at NIMBioS, Claxton Education Building, 1122 Volunteer Blvd. Pizza will be served.
