Jane Comiskey is a senior analyst on the NIMBioS Information Technology Team, principally tasked with providing support for NIMBioS' online presence and managing ADNIMB, NIMBioS' administrative database. She developed, maintains, and updates the award-winning NIMBioS website nimbios.org; administers collaborative platforms for working group communication; and provides support for evaluation of requests for NIMBioS funding.

Comiskey's NIMBioS work draws on a broad background of collaborative research and modeling activities. She has studied succession on pine plantations; participated in baseline research in the Gulf of Mexico; developed parallel algorithms for cluster analysis; and worked with field biologists to develop spatially-explicit individual-based and index models for endangered and prey species for the Across Trophic Level System Simulation (ATLSS) Project, a component of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan. She served on the USFWS Florida Panther Subteam, tasked with developing a landscape conservation strategy for panthers.

Comiskey has an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Botany from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
