UT-NIMBioS STEM Alliance Workshop:
Transitions for STEM Students with Disabilities

The UT-NIMBioS STEM Alliance hosted a workshop for high school and college educators to share their experiences in efforts to transition students with disabilities in STEM disciplines from high school to college.
- Tamara Massey-Garrett, Program Manager, Center for Disability Services, Auburn University at Montgomery, discussed issues facing STEM students with disabilities.
- UT Student Disabilities Services gave an overview of the services available to UT students.
- Internships and professional development activities for students were discussed.
