The lead author of a new study in Nature explains how multiple traits in host-parasite interactions give the host a unique evolutionary advantage that helps it survive. Dr. Tucker Gilman is a post-doctoral fellow at the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS). The study appears in the March 4 online edition of Nature.
